Magelis XBT-R ultra-compact HMI display simplifies operator control

A new and enhanced compact display terminal from Schneider Electric provides low-cost connectivity to control systems for machine operators. The Telemecanique® Magelis® XBT-R matrix screen display accommodates up to four lines of large font (20mm high) text for easy viewing. The latest addition to a complete Telemecanique family of operator interfaces is designed to provide an affordable HMI display for small and medium-sized machines.

The sturdy Magelis XBT-R display provides low-cost connectivity to all Schneider Electric PLCs using Modbus® and Unitelway protocols.

• An ergonomically designed keyboard with 20 keys
• Ports to handle either point-to-point or multipoint communications
• Latin, Cyrillic, Katakana, Greek and Chinese fonts
• Rated for IEC 60529, NEMA 4X outdoor use, Class I Div II and UL508

The Magelis XBT-R display unit, which is programmed using the XBT-L 1000 configuration software, is easy to integrate, to assemble and wire.
